Today's recommendation comes to us from the 2004 Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Ceremony, and George Harrison's induction specifically, being he would've been 77 today...
...but features what is quite possibly the greatest show-stealing guitar solo ever performed, on behalf of His Royal Badness: Prince.

...it just doesn't get any better. I've watched this video in full - not listened to, WATCHED - at least once a week for what must be years now. I can't get enough of it. Here's what I've said about it before, which I completely stand by to this day...
"I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more badass, musically mind-blowing, cool, suave, and elegant encapsulation of what it means to be a god damn rockstar. I can’t even watch the clip without making John Mayer-style stank faces while Prince is doin’ his thing - I just get lost in the sauce. I think it’s my favorite improved guitar solo of all time, and I’m STILL picking up new little things and details about it on every watch."
